Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is a federally funded program aimed to assist low to moderate-income (LMI) communities with development projects that promote community revitalization throughout Mercer County.
Housing Rehabilitation
Mercer County recognizes that low-income residents, elderly, and others often have limited funds available to make needed repairs to their homes. To help meet this need, grants will be made available to eligible homeowners to provide safe and sanitary living environments. The grant is limited to renovation costs up to $100,000.
Fair Housing
Mercer County is dedicated to providing Fair Housing for all residents, ensuring decent, safe and affordable housing of choice, free from discrimination.
Grant Programs
There are a number of grant programs available in a wide variety of community development categories in addition to the CDBG Program. MCRPC is available to help provide information about these programs, as well as assisting municipalities in applying for funding.
