
Public Notice - Retention of Planning/Engineering Firm
City of Sharon Truck Route Plan
July 7, 2006
The Mercer County Regional Planning Commission requests letters of interest from qualified consulting firms or teams of firms to complete the “City of Sharon Truck Route Plan” in the City of Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The final plan will address several goals which include identification of safe truck routes throughout the City, identification of the locations of signage placement, identification of projects that would address safety and truck movement issues and providing project costs and a time table for implementation of identified projects
Each letter of interest must include the firm's federal I.D. number, special requirements Forms 254 and 255, and a submission of the firm's qualifications and relevant experience in conducting such studies. Three copies of all materials should be submitted to Mercer County Regional Planning Commission, 2491 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA, 16148 by
4:00 PM on July 28, 2006. Responses are encouraged from small and minority/woman-owned firms and firms who have not previously performed work for MCRPC.
