MERCER COUNTY AFFORDABLE HOUSING
FUND BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, April 4, 2006
Mercer County Regional Planning Commission Offices
The next meeting of the Mercer County
Affordable Housing Fund Board will be Tuesday, April 4th, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the offices of the Mercer County Regional Planning
Commission in the large conference room. (The MCRPC office is
located on the north side of Highland Road beside the Hermitage Fire Station.)
Attached please find excerpts of proposals
from The Arc of Mercer County (MCAR) and the Mercer County Habitat For
Humanity. The proposal from MCAR requests a total of $150,000 in trust funds.
These funds are to be used to leverage $145,500 from other funding sources for
a total project cost totaling approximately $295,500. The proposal from
Habitat For Humanity requests $21,168 in trust funds. It is unclear how much
match is to be provided for this project. I am in the process of clarifying
this information, and will provide it and scoring sheets for the two projects
at the beginning of the meeting.
Currently, approximately $430,000 in
unencumbered funds is available for affordable housing projects.
